The third most important road in this area is NH 154. It starts at Pathankot and runs through different places in Himachal Pradesh such as Nurpur, Palampur, Jogindarnagar, Mandi, Sundar Nagar, Ghaghas, Bilaspur etc. Moreover, this is one road, which runs directly through the city and a part of it is known as Dalhousie Road. Therefore, this road is also very important for intra-city transportation.

Both the broad and narrow gauge train tracks are being regularly up graded. For example, Jammu-Pathankot railway track has recently been electrified. Numerous trains that reach Pathankot from various destinations make travelling to this city via railway system not only cheap, but also very comfortable.
